I just purchased a very nice MLE MkI rifle, but it seems to be missing the front action screw and clearing rod. Any ideas on where to source these?

How rare are Swiss made K31 barrels in 308 Win? There is a local store selling some.
The Swiss army still uses 7.5x55mm ammo in their MGs so production will continue although quantity and price will be effected over time.
I don't believe that the stock has been refinished. The serial number is on the bottom of the stock and it matches the inside of the stock, buttplate and handguard, however they do not match the rest...
Actually the pressures for both 308 and 7.62x51 are closer than this indicates. the NATO ammo was originally measures via CUP (copper crusher measurement), SAAMI uses transducers. Most ballistics...

Just a screw hole now. I know most were removed and the hole plugged but I am pretty sure this was one of the Canadian contract guns that avoided all the upgrades. I am sure I could find a swivel...
I just picked up this rifle. Serial number is 57xx, condition is amazing but butt sling swivel is missing. Just looking for some idea of value.

I recently came across this rifle. It appears to replicate the L8 rifle conversion, 4 groove 7.62mm barrel, correct magazine, extractor and even clip guide insert. These are the only markings on it...
M1 Garand thumb here.
I just got this at auction. After reading through this site, it appears to be a sporterized Ross rather than a Sporter. However the sights seem to be identical to those on sporters. Any input from...
I would take 5.
That is pretty much correct. For a short period of time if FA guns were restricted from firing FA they were sold here as other guns. That changed in 1996 (or so) and they were all prohibited although...
I am pretty sure that this is a bandoleer for a Lee Enfield, so I think this is the right forum. Can anyone help with with information concerning this item?...
I have No 32 MkI HBMC No 9695 with mount for F37209
Also No 32 MkIII CTS No 20213 mount number 34710
Another for the No 4. Very good sights (aperature sights are better than tangent). Better magazine capacity. Very fast action. Simple and durable.
I recently purchased a nice USN 1885 rifle, but just discovered that the extractor is missing. Can anyone point me in the direction of a possible source?
Sorry It is marked:

I am in Canada
I recently acquired a Remington made musket. It is in even better condition and my concern is that it could be a reproduction. The acceptance marks, cartouches etc all appear correct to me. Any...
I recently acquired a Lee Metford ( No 1 Mk II*) rifle. It was a DP rifle in the past and the firing pin was cut, bolt face was damaged and extractor assembly removed. Also the magazine appears to be...
