That's really cool! A whole case! :)
Take the rifle and mail it to me and I'll post pictures for you. I might accidentally play with it before sending it back. Lol :) jk
They rip through there pretty good :)
I need more powder but the rest will last a while. I don't have much spare time to go shooting right now. A matter of fact, I have 3 rifles and 2 hand guns i've never shot yet. I plan on retiring...
Actually should have used this pic
this should last a day or two

On a repair like that , is there a certain type or brand of glue you like? How well did the wood match back up after you got the old glue out? Good work so far :)
I've used Berry's also With little trouble. The hardest thing for me was getting the die set right to get the case to hold the bullet tight and not crimp the plating on the bullet. JW :)
Got lucky at the gun shop. They had some W296. That was the only one they had that I had load data on. JW :)
I picked up 4 boxes of PPU at the beginning of the buying frenzy. I thought I was lucky to get the bullets because the dealers were completely out of everything. :)
That drives me crazy waiting for something to come in or be able to pick it up. Just to let you know Monday is a holiday! It's Presidents day :(
I got 1000 brass on on Gun Auction last weekend for $76. Just ordered from Midway, 1000 Rainier LeadSafe Bullets for $95. Already got the primers just need to find powder locally and I'll be setup. :p
I may do that cause I cast for everything else. I'm down to about 300 lbs of lead. :)
I picked up some brass but still need bullets:(
I was thinking that some came that way. I must have misinterpreted what I read. JW :)
2 have pretty good crimps on the ends.
Amazing how fresh those stock marking can be after over 65 years! Some of the parts look ok though.
They all look promising to me . Need more testing to be sure.
a couple pictures I found on the internet

That's right Curt! And the only Winchester paper weight with serial Number 57248XX :) LOL
I know from being on the other forums, you can reload just for a specific rifle and get great results from a worn barrel. I don't know how good a shot you are but looks good to me:)
Thanks painter777! :)
Probably faster sighting then with a peep too
Oh you're just jealous cause you don't have a broken Winchester receiver! Lol :)
