Let me re-phrase that I have a Bren not DD but made just after DDs, that has all parts for that year of Bren 1941 rather than a mix of Mk2 Mk3 bits added over the years as you see on most Brens. So...

My Bren is 1941 MK 1 with the D logo all matching serial numbers K.6411, all early parts including the correct tripod, when I looked up the date of manufacture its seems to be a November or December...

So what would a Mk 1 1944 Enfield Bren have when it came off the production line ie, a Mk 1 butt stock etc or would it have the latest improved butt stock available at the time ie a Mk 2 stock etc,...
