    Oh that’s not so bad. I had one of those Marlin’s and shot a “bear load” 45-70 in it. That combo meant business but it wasn’t shoulder dislocating or anything.

    No evidence of a serial number ever applied.

    And boy is it DRY. Looks like it hasn’t been oiled in decades and moves that way too.
