Back about 9-10 years ago I bought a US&S 1911A1 from a dealer who'd imported several dozen 1911 & A1's from a shipment from Asia that was diverted from New York as I recall due to U.S. import rules....
Know of a mint, like new, perfect Belgian Naval model with the grey park finish, but can't come up with a fair, realistic price to offer. Any suggestions?
Not much info out there on these. Only 1,000...
Yowza...it's even indian marked to boot. I just sold a buddy a cleaner Winchester for $325. No volley's but he has a set.

Volley sights from Lee-Enfield are very different than P14.
Front pointer on P14 is much longer than Enfield.
Rear P14 is different shape, described as "dog leg".
The P14 parts will be stamped...
Notice how the front band sits farther back than it should? Suspect it was modified by someone.

Belgian converted on any No4 they felt like. The two I saw several years ago seen were built on very battered Brit No.4's. Interesting trainer, but not comparable to a C No.7 and with very little...
Pics would definetly help here, but not always possible I know. Therefore going only by your description I'd say the price is very high. The market is full of fiddled with, restored sporters and...
Here's a 1905 MKI EY/2 rifle in my collection. Originally issued to Australian Light Horse (ALH). Appears to have been wire-rapped forward of sight only and removed long ago. By coincidence, there's...
This is actually 8 shots! Fired at 50 yards due to Victoria's usual fog. Figured I should at least shoot it once as I'll likely sell it shortly. Awesome range-rifle and 6.5X55 is a dream to shoot....
Here's a 4-shot group my Boer Mauser produced at 50 yards (due to fog).

Paid $275 for my "Canadian Cadet corp" contract Martini 5 years ago in Ottawa before moving west. See them either side of $300 these days. Great little grouse killer.

Definetly a re-work, Czech or East German likely. Sight guard often seen on Czech. Replaced stock has no take-down disk. Very nice rework however. Figure either side of $500. Claven2's out of town,...
Very interesting results. Of course if ROSS had been listed, it would be number one by far.

I literally grew up hearing about the Red Baron on a daily basis. It has been my fathers life-long passion and he finally had his works published in 2000, "The Many Deaths of the Red Baron" by Frank...
Has been defered to December,2009.........yeah us!

My un-issued Savage is dated 1943 on butt-socket and stock milled for cutoff.

I have same rifle. Recall reading 4,000 were ordered by Canada. I'll do a little search and see if can confirm that number. Any regimental marks on butt-plate? Mines the 30th (Guelph?).

That was the first '41 LB I've seen listed anywhere in a long time, looks very nice. My '41 is OL6XXX and has what I beleive is probably birch furniture. Have maple on a DCRA LB and its noticably...
Trouble is some shops are using his site as a "guide" when pricing stuff up here. Then they wonder why the stuff just sits on the rack. Fact is, "word of mouth" and endless gunshow trips are still...
I'd also asked Jeff for pics of receiver when it first appeared. I'd be interested also but gun-fund took a Mauser hit already. Go for it Claven2 and you could probably drive to pick it up for less...
Story of North Africans that joined the free French in WWII. Is french with English sub-titles but has some excellent, well done combat scenes. Might be hard to find at big outlets.

Sent seller question asking to clarify if "original" sniper box or if modified C No.7 chest. See he has not posted my Q and his A as he has done for other questions re:shipping.
