what is the best way to clean the action? it would be nice to see what other marks are hidden under the muck and grime.
another way possibly as it`s just a deactivated rifle is to see if my mate can get one done at his engineering works then have it welded on, ok it will not be original but then again the whole rifle...

i have access to a router and a fair bit of wood to practice on, dont forget though that this is at present a project to keep me occupied till i start earning again which is going to be at least 18...
