That mill looks solid but compact. Even large shops seem to get crowded over time so for me that is a plus. DRO and auto X feed are nice additions too. A Kurt vice would be the cherry on top... if...

Give me a still and a rifle and I will live quite comfortably.
Thanks for posting that. I've always enjoyed watching the NZ rugby team do this before a match. Whenever I see the haka it makes me want to strap the gear on and jump in with both boots. Very...
For a WWII bolt action fighting rifle I would choose the No4.
Why?
1.Accurate enough
2.Reliable
3.Large magazine capacity
4.Very good sights
5.That fast and smooth bolt movement
That...
Please everyone....Let's not drive this "sports discussion" into political train wreck.
I think there's something to the notion that once you have played soccer the odds that you will enjoy being a spectator of soccer improve. I supppose in my case since I'm now old and broken I will...
Soccer... I just don't understand the excitement over it. I've tried to get excited about it but can't. Tell me why I'm a neanderthal and would'nt know an exciting and sophisticated competition if it...
If you are determined to explore the insides of the No32 you should locate a copy of P. Laidler's book on the No32. The book is full of valuable No32 knowledge and is well worth the time and modest...
Looked at this very rifle yesterday.....Save your time and money!
I suppose you only love us when the occupying army is marching through your capital. :surrender::surrender::surrender::surrender:
CORRECTION - T.R. was a REPUBLICAN!
Happy new year to all of you. Over the holiday I visited the family farm in Jackson SC. It was a relaxing 10 days spent hunting ducks, quail, deer and shooting my No4T. I had my first opportunity to...
Have you successfully collimated a scope with your rifle using a correct bracket?
Can you remove and replace the bracket and scope without disturbing the alignment?
I wish you the very best...
Thanks for those Enfield photos. I came across this photo the other day and thought it interesting since the center (para?) is equipped with a No4Mk1T sniper rifle and spotting scope. Hope you enjoy...
Thanks very much for all the interesting info and opinions. I never knew that Navy/Marines didn't mark their rifles... that's good to know. I'm thinking of just swapping the bolts to make the 03A3...
I can say from experience that the "Gorilla Grip" gas cylinder can be tightened to the barrel such that it will not move at all. This may partially explain why this rifle can shoot consistant tight...
Thanks for that. I see through a search that this has been discussed previously. My apologies.
I received this rifle directly from the CMP. S.A. #1451994 BBL. marked S.A. 9-42 Do any of you have a similar gas cylinder? It's a great shooter so no problems there.

I see, thanks for that info. I new I could get some help here. Still curious about that 88 though. I wish these things could talk!
Thank you for your kind words. I admit up front to being no expert on these so I beg you not to read this as me trying to be argumentative. I'm just trying to completely understand what you're...
No it does not.
Thanks for all the comments so far. Here are some more pics and info as requested.

I'm hoping the wealth of knowledge here can shed light on a 03A3 I have. I'm collecting Remington 03's that have brass stock screws. So far I have two examples, a late 1903 (modified if you prefer)...
Thought I'd show off a before/after of my No4. I finally obtained a No32 scope with genuine bracket. Sadly, the eye lense cell is damaged. The only other problem I see is a missing screw head...
Very nicely done sir! What an excellent idea and wonderful acknowledgement of your great uncle's sacrifice. I'm certain he and his brother would be pleased by your tribute! Maybe a rifle for Fred...
