Next time if I am so lucky. I hope next year to beable to put a few mags through it.
Oh boy did I handle it.
One of the best days I ever had at the range. I was firing 1944 WRA and 1941 DI VII they were well stored and shot well. I got contact at 300 yards on a 4 foot target...
I took the Mosin last week and the old girl (1942) still shoots pretty good. I was hitting things at 300 yards prone and standing at 100 yards.
I thought to myself a soldier that got to live...
Yes your right on there its flashy and a little hot. Likely built for SMG's. I actually like shooting 30 mauser through it more in line with what I think the gun was designed to shoot. I might...

Thanks I'm about to order the Mark 1 sight from someone here. I was using the Mark II (pressed sights). I'll try holding the hand forward like I do off a bench under the rest and see how it goes. ...
Very helpful. I guess the Mark 1 doesn't have windage but I want something to drop in and not mare up my stock etc.
I love my No4. It does look nice in the sun and it shoots well. I got a 12 inch group at 300 yards using the battle sights. I have the MK2 pressed flip up sights and want the machined sights. Are...
These guys are tougher than I. I will get a few prizes for the winners. I hope to get 6 people at the range to try a Mad minute with Lee Enfield's all at the same time. I think the video would be...

Click here for a list of the 4 videos YouTube
There are now 4 video replies to my challenge. This is a must see for Mosin fans out there. These old battle rifles are pretty tough. Anyway one of the replies the cosmo is boiling out of the hand...

Anyone interested or have recoil tails to tell?
I just posted a video challenge for those that think the recoil of a Mosin Nagant is easy to absorb. Of course it is standing or sitting at a bench but shooting on the ground in the prone postions?...
No near ready for the zombie apocalypse I need to hoard more pork products. Thanks for watching
I got out to the range today with a few of Russian guns and made up a little Russian 3 gun.

I hope to take out to the large range on PEI and get it out to 300 yards but I'll get the bands in the right direction. I would be cool to get paper at 600 yards but I'm not that good of shot with...
Thanks I was wondering if there was a convention and turns out there is. That's a quick fix.
LOL. Actually there was a oil drum and a piece of plywood acting as a table for the camera. The angle is fun and I'll certainly use it again on other projects.
I don't care what the bayonet looks like the guy who gave it to landed on the beaches of Normandy June 6 with the Cameron Highlanders, I know the bayonet wasn't from that war " He was a machine...

I don't know the story behind the bayonet but I do know I remember it in the house since I was a kid so I know its looked the same for 40+ years. The The British chrome bayonets for the Enfield are...
