i dont know the value on the rifles but i keep the mauser because of the history but the enfield has history too but i keep the mauser thats just me.
i have a friend that has one and i not a expert in spanish military rifles but is the bolt when pushed forward to close it is it a little hard to do that
i agree a .223/5.56 is a small round for hunting deer but it can still do the job just not as good as a larger round in my opinion i know about the design to wound than not to kill but a 30-06 oouch.

i not realy sure but if it uses the grease as a m1 garand use lubriplate it works like what the military used to use hope this helps you.
