Its amazing how everyone is now scared to shoot their garand and losing their minds over what is "safe"...sheesh
when read properly it says this..
They said ammo that is OVER 50k CUP AND 172 gr is bad.
However...
50k CUP is SAAMI max so ALL commercial ammo is under this.
In essence CMP just stated all...
Perfectly safe to use... no worries.

When the data you quote is incorrect from the beginning it means your assumptions based on that are now also incorrect.
JapT99 ammo weights ~182gr not 175gr. T92 velocity is actually higher not...
And yet its perfectly safe to put the T92 powder/projectiles in to new brass and use it in T99 rifles.

Thats a repo M1 sling...note the khaki color....
Sorry to dig this up.....BUT..
Is the gage read the same way as on an M1903 or is it different?
Thanks!
Yes, we used truckloads or WW2 ammo.
As we were building up our supplies they were directly shipping ammo from the States or off the MPS ships which was very "new" ammo. Someone in Europe made...
Not a grenade launcher but a night sight.....
Don't forget the USMC rebuilds marked on the flat under the rear sight. marked as "O-65, 66 or 67".
Can't just get one style gotta get them all!
What's up stranger? Long time no see......
Welcome back... dunno why I say that..heck, I'm hardly here myself...
I'm leaning towards the Type 2 lockbar being legit.... the Type 1's showed up in the 5/42 534k range and didn't last long before the type 2s showed up.
My select from back in the day was a mint 5.6 HRA which would be a "collectors" today... sweet deal back then and I lucked out and didn't get a rebuild... :super:
Pic test....
