Ok thanks!
It’s for sale and I’ve never seen that before so it definitely caught my attention. There are no other modifications or markings on it so it’s definitely bizarre

Thanks everyone!
Hi guys!
Does anyone know what this slot is that is milled in this No4?

It looks like the mk1* program started with serial 0C50000, can anyone corroborate this?
Thanks Alan!
From what little research I did I could not seem to find any logs of Mk1* with 0 after the C, they seemed to all have a number other than 0 so I found this one odd.
I’m wondering...
Hi all!
I am curious about the lineage of this rifle.
I looked up serial numbers and couldn’t find any mk1*’s with serial 0C0###. Is this an odd one? Or not that rate.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the suggestion!
I was contemplating trying a couple different sight blocks I have on hand and see if they fit a little better, if that fails I’ll give this a thought for sure!

I checked the nose cap and it seemed like there was a gap so I tapped it tight to the nose of the forend and still won’t clear.
Here are some pictures of what I’m dealing with....
Is it typical for an unissued No4 forend (N49 stamped) to be too long?
I am trying to fit one and no matter how I position it it won’t seat.
With the rear hard against the socket face, the nose...
Excellent points and info thank you!
The owner is an 85 yr old gunsmith who is not savvy with computers so getting pictures will be a challenge but I’ll see what I can get!

Hi guys!
I am in need of the 2 stock cross bolts typically found on repro A3 C-stocks.
I’ve searched what I believe to be everywhere!! But have not been successful.
Any help where to find...
Thanks for the replies guys!!
Curious what the group thinks on its collectibility or rarity if you will?

Hi guys!
Looking for information on a No.1Mk3 a buddy of mine has.
It’s basically a standard sporterized No.1 except the barrel has written on it:
LINCOLN JEFFERIES STEELHOUSE LANE...
Given Your enfield to SVT ratio you get a pass mentioning the SVT here ;)
Exactly what I’m looking for,
Thank you Brian!
