Good grief, I've only ever seen a single unmolested example in Warminster..
They must have an absolutely facinating history.
We've had 40c twice this year and in the 30's most days for weeks on end now....
The difference is you chaps have Aircon, we just can't get away from the bloody heat!
Roll on the Autumn I say...
My AR is a dedicated.22lr build. The UK's legal requirements mean semi automatic is limited to a max of .22 WMR, so a build by Guncraft ltd is the way to go for me.
These are absolutely first rate...
We've actually had 40c here a few times this summer, it's just not funny, especially as virtually no one has Aircon!
I'm more than done with summer this year, roll on the Autumn!
Very nice, I've a plan on building a .22 WMR Car15...
Yep, your weather got lost and it's been with us for weeks mate, ready to send it back your way!
Telling me Jim, I retreated back to my air conditioned LandRover, bounced back across the fields in a cloud of dust with a frosted glass (or three) of beer firmly in my sights....
Hi all,
I (rather stupidly) thought I would head off for a relaxing couple of hours shooting this afternoon... Hot as hell quite frankly, I thought it was odd that I am was the only one ... Well...

It was a very dark point in the war and their Japanese...
I thought you were in the 'Maroon Machine' Gil, not the cook house rifles mate!
You're quite right Jim....
Well said Ron, as a snap shot, I had one Uncle ( DFC Bar) who was a flight engineer, he did two tours with Bomber Command, 52 Squadron Halifax and 460 RAAF on Lancaster's, the horror and stress took...
Evening F10, your assertion regarding German demands for a ceasefire and terms depends on your point of reference, in May 1940, in the direct aftermath of Operation Dynamo or in September 1940 or...
Evening F10, there is still the fundamental difference that the UK was still a powerful country, even after Dunkirk. You have to bare in mind that the UK was still a leading industrial power at this...
I don't see it F10. The invasion of the UK was played out in the late 1960's as a series of war games at Sandhurst.
The Germans loose, as they simply can't support the number of troops needed....
These personal stories from this pivotal point in World history really are fascinating.
Had Britain been forced to the negotiation table, (invasion would likely have failed and the Germans knew...
That's a real shame Jim, sounds like something to make a fuss about mate.....
I haven't seen one for years, 1993 Wroughton Air display here in the UK for memory.
We used to have a Tiger Cat, Bearcat and a Skyraider based at Duxford years ago.
