I got a beechwood stock marked SA, so guess used in US as well.
Nope...ownership marks are correct.
Exactly.
Picture of the barrel markings please. VAR stamp?
Do not store the rifle inside the plastic case - any moisture will stay in the case - much better for the rifle with regards to rust to be stored outside the plastic case.
Very nice rifle indeed.
Some prefer the standard 1911 over the 1911A1 due to the longer trigger and straight grip...
One of my Garands is marked "RRAD" on one of the receiver legs... and also "66" if my memory serves me correctly. The receiver is a 1943 Springfield. I purchased this Garand in Germany originally -...
Pictures? ;)
Hi
I got this Winchester stock on my Rock Ola mixmaster... I am considering selling the Winchester stock, in order to purchase/find a Rock Ola stock. The Stock seems to be a Winchester high wood...
I still miss Texas :-( ... (I have moved back to Europe)
You need to teach the girls a proper stance when shooting the rifles ;-)
Gil,
The Engineers are still in Skive. Regarding the Vikings - yes we certainly got our share of beautiful women... But like with guns; I enjoy shooting my Garands, k98's etc...but some times...

Why are straight-pulls so expensive in the UK? Semiautos (not legal in UK) are not nearly as expensive here in mainland Europe as the straight-pulls in the UK. The conversion is not that...
Yeah, stupid makes-no-sense gun laws...
Nope... Just poor craftsmanship. It is as I say above...Below is yet another example, where you can see the spotweld on the receiver. I can show you many more examples of German KWKG changes to...
Here is an example of a Garand from Germany showing the changes to bolt and receiver which I mention above...

Yep, I'm the lucky guy of that Garand... I talked with my german gunsmith and got the answer. ROCK was kind enough to repost my update from another forum on this forum. I have removed all the changes...
The spot weld on the bolt is due to former firearms regulation in Germany (KWKG). This stated that bolts in firearms owned by civilians should not be interchangeable with bolts in military firearms....
You guys are *******s :-D Over here in Europe a rebuilt/NOS 03A3 will cost me 1500$... Ask me how I know :-(
Why do you got 5,000 stocks?? Are you selling them?
Hi... I just purchased another Inland carbine (serial no 526xxxx). It is 100% original condition except for the stock. The stock has been sanded down, so now the crossed cannons cartouche is gone....
Correct - it could be a Danish stock. If you field strip the rifle, you might find a small sticker inside the stock with sight in adjustments. It should be marked HMAK and with the Royal Danish...
