Good day everyone,
I had my desporterized no.4 mk.1 apart for a thorough cleaning today, and I noticed this stamp in the barrel channel of the forend which made me curious over the stock's...
Yep, found a big ol' E for eddystone there, thanks.
Amen to that, got it out the range recently and its a great shooter.
Got down to business the past few days cleaning all the grime off...
Haha, yeah, sometimes I get annoyed thinking about the fact that its a 1917 stock on a 1913 rifle, but then i pull it out of the safe to look at the beautiful wood and feel better :). Besides, the...
Nope, bought it from a friend who in turn got it off the CGN equipment exchange a couple years ago. He says he's fired it a number of times without issue so I think it'll be ok, I guess I'll see how...
Thanks for the info, I suspected it was a restoration but again, the price was right so not too concerned about it. From some cursory googling it seems that m17 and p14 stocks are not necessarily...

I did try using a black light on the stock, no dice. All I could make out was a very faint outline of the cartouche, bubba did a very thorough job of it. As far as safety goes, the bore looks great,...
The bore is in great shape, the bolt has the safety rivet installed and shows the correct full inch of exposed bolt sleeve when open, and closes and locks correctly so I have no concerns at all about...
Yeah, it's a damn shame somebody felt the need to sand the stock like that, especially since there is no way of knowing the rifle's serial number now. I've read that taking a black light to it could...
Hello everyone,
After coveting one for some time, I finally got my hands on a beautiful Ross mk.3. Although its sporterized, the barrel length and sights are unmolested and it seems like a good...
