The number is 1417349.....I need another opinion....I am looking at a 1903 Sporter but the number doesn't exist in my reference data. They say it is a Sporter....it looks like a Sporter.....BUT.

Rifle came in and correct serial number is etched on bottom of bolt over the split....the top etching was very light.....
