That is indeed a gorgeous SKS. My first rifle was a refurbished 1950 Russian Tula SKS with laminate stock. Still have it along with a second non-refurbished 1954 Russian Tula SKS.

Sadly, I'm not a collector. I just buy neat old surplus rifles and enjoy firing them.
