All he said was he has had this rifle for along time . I think he bought it in a lot of guns.

Thanks for the info Fred. I looked at my trigger again and it has the serrations you mentioned at the lower end of the trigger.I believe this is a NM that has really taken a beating. After just...
There are no markings on the lugs of the bolt. The trigger has grooves in it, by serrations do you mean a cross hatch pattern ?
What would one do to check out the receiver ? I know a gunsmith but...
The gold coloring on the parts is from a brass brush I used to try and get the crud off.
Here are pictures of the rifle. I hope they tell a good story.

I will have it checked out more than once. I will never sell it without telling the whole story of the rifle. But Thanks for the advice Jim.

Thats a very nice rifle Fred. There is bad news to my rifle. It blew up . Either someone tried to fire a 8mm in it or fired it when it was loaded with grease dirt and oil. The receiver is still good...
Just picked up this 1903, serial number 1182090. First I was wondering if it could be a NM rifle ? Second I need a complete J6 bolt and a floor plate with spring and follower. Also the bolt stop.
...
Thanks you Amitikulu and Jona. Is there any interest in these ? If so what would be a fair price ? I,m going to get rid of them as I do not collect enfields or related materials. Derrick
Picked these up because the owner was going to burn them. Have two of the wooden cut out ones and then the one that looks like a rifle. the second one is made with some crude cast aluminum and the...
Correction on my last post . I meant to say the left side of my receiver. Derrick
All the numbers that I could find match. I did look at the sticky and on the right side of my receiver it is blank. The ones in the post had ConD on them. What does this stand for and being absent on...
I,m hoping that the good folks on this forum can explain alittle about this rifle. I know virtually nothing except that its a .22 enfield that was converted and made its way to Austrailia. A friend...
After checking the marks with a magnifier and using different lighting I beleive that it is a K for 1941. Thanks MKIII for your time and if you are keeping records of serial numbers again mine is...
MKIII, here are pictures of both sides of the barrel by the receiver. Let me know what you think.
Thanks Derrick
I took the barrel off and that is whats stamped there. An O followed by a Y or V. I will send you a picture later tonight. Derrick
Hello all, this is my first post on the .22 forum. I recently purchased a 513T. It is parkerized and stamped US Property on the receiver and barrel. The stock has a FJA in a box on the left side and...
That stock has been for sale for a very long time. I think it is over-priced for a rebuild stock. And as Chuck said the butt plate......?
Nice carbine Ramit . I think your hand guard is a springfield armory made guard. I have some that just have the A and some that just have the S with the A barely visable. Again nice score. Derrick
Sounds like a nice carbine. I have a stock with a S'G' in a box if you need it. Like so many others it does need some TLC. Derrick
Thanks. We were offered $250 sight unseen so I figured it would be worth two or three times that.Just trying to nail it alittle closer.
I have come across a type 92 machinegun replacement barrel in a steel and wood lined box. Would anyone know where I could get a ball park value for this ? A very good friend of mine passed away and...
Its the 3 asteriks. $ would be a full choke
The stock looks like a S. Korean made stock. I dont know what kind of wood they use but its rough and seems to be alittle brittle. Any import markings on the barrel ? Derrick
