While the woodwork isn't 100% my thing, this certainly does take you back to the days when rifles were deeply personal items, and the woodwork was a huge part of the character. I like it.

I think a lot of people confuse this with the original Makarov, which I have heard that happens with. I still haven't had a chance to fire it. But just holding it makes me want another.
A far more modern milsurp, but still a milsurp.
I saw these for sale on AIMsurplus so I did some research. I couldn't find anything negative about them other than that they are "more complicated"...
