I too think it’s for a BFA, but not the one Charlie mentioned.

I got a good laugh from this, thank you! [emoji23]
I believe it’s a Brass deflector for a carbine!
If I remember correctly the Spits and Buchon (cloned as a 109) were all the real deal. The Stukas and Heinkel were large scale RC models!
I personally thought the aircraft scenes made the entire...
+1 I too would like to know that secret!
I did the same as you when I started collecting: add one of each major battle rifle from each major nation involved.
So far I have:
USA: Garand, Carbine, 1903A3
Japan: Type 99
Russia: Mosin...
Very, very cool!
I was the same way with my K43 a few months ago. It came up on gunboards for a really, really good price. It took everything I had to post "I'll take it." Even more so once I had to send the postal...
Very, very nice! I'm a little jealous! The SVT is the last on my semi auto WWII list to get!
I know we are lucky to have several veterans on this forum, and to start, God bless you and thank you for your service. For this thread, I'm interested in those who carried the early M16/M16A1's,...
You're in my hometown!
If you get the chance, going in is worth it. I've been on battleships, subs, etc, and nothing is quite like a carrier. Plus they have a bring back type 99 with Lexington...
I noticed that especially with tankers helmets when fury came out. I had been looking for one for awhile and boy did I make a mistake waiting so long. Once fury came out, they were out of my league!...
Realized when I got out of my college classes today that Hacksaw Ridge came out today! Went with a group of friends to see it, and was very impressed overall!
Do not expect saving private Ryan...
Guys thank you a ton for your response! I read each and every one and took note! Hoping to get to the range next week!
Went and saw hacksaw ridge tonight. Makes me love the M1 even more.
I know between the search function and Google I can find the answer, but sometimes there's a thing as TOO MUCH information, and of course quality.
I've owned a Garand for years now, but never...
This is the coolest project I've seen in awhile. Anxiously waiting flight videos to be posted, as it just got approved to be airworthy yesterday according to the Facebook page! Thanks for sharing!
I ran into this problem as well. I didn't have time to figure it out so I dropped it off with a smith. They did some slight dremal work and she's dead on now. The barrel was an AR15 sports barrel 1/9...
Love this pic! I try to do allot of equipment based photos myself. Love the rack numbers. Really add character!
I did! I'd used the AR platform quite abit but assembling one truly teaches you how every piece works. I think all AR shooters should build at least one.
I think I got the articles mixed up, sorry!
Ain't that the truth. I spent the same build my A1 as I would have buying a quality AR15.
I never realized they actually found the spitfires! I thought it was just a bunch of hype but digging found nothing. I'm really glad you posted that link, thank you!
Don't feel bad, I haven't had the heart to eat it!
Yes sir it is!
Thank you!

Found a couple more. Man I love this rifle! I can't get over how light it is!
Now I'm really...
