Nice Trials..The rifle looks all correct as mentioned. I have serial No. A1374. and all correct except cut off replaced with later one. Non matching scope also but no stamped "T" ......

Is that a cloud of smoke from firing the rifle with the early not fully smokeless powder, and if so, it seems may be the firing in damp weather/air. Or is the cloud from something else??
Maybe the shovel was good for digging the hole but the helmet scopes out more sand then the small entrenching blade?...
