Thanks much for the information. I'm told it was most likely used in the 1924 National Matches at Camp Perry. Does this mean it likely sat in a armory somewhere from 1920 until 1924?

Recently acquired this 1903 barreled receiver. Was told by someone I regard as an expert that it's a 1920 National Match rifle. it's not listed in the SRS. The ser# is 1196717. Barrel is dated 5-20....
