Yep! I'm glad I won't be around to sort thru my stuff after I'm dead! Someone is going to have one hell of a time sorting & selling everything. I don't envy them the task, But I sure Not going to...
98k clg rods are just where ever/when ever you find them..
The odds are at least even that what you will find is a post war repro. These will not have any markings of any sort on them where the WW...

Yep, I've got a couple of them do it in the dark jumps.
You can usually see the ground just before you hit it - depending on how bright the stars are.

BFD!
I've done that about 70 times in the US, Mexico and Viet Nam.
The fun jumps are done from about 800' with full combat gear.

Well,l it would very probably help greatly IF you showed a photo of the bayonet!
All the little close ups ,make it very hard to sure what I'm looking at, But my guess would be it is for a Czech...
Typo or ???
You have an Astra 400, Not a 300. The 300 was only made in 7.65 & 9mm corto = 32 acp & 380.

Besides making the mandatory training & pay jumps, I jumped when ever I got a chance. One day I managed to get in 4 jumps because there were lots of guys jumping and so lots of A/C spread out during...

Yep, I sent the wife a bright dark green dragon covered set of pajamas.
When we split I kept them just for the hell of it. Still buried around here somewhere?
There was everything imaginable,...
That patch was one of 2 available, both were basicly the same except different wording. The other one was "Tonking Gulf Yatch Club." I think I have both.
I spent the first 4+ months at SF Hq in...
My comments apple to ALL types of war trophies whether weapons, weapons accessories, uniforms, medals or a WW 2 German motorcycle/side car (yes, I have heard of a few of those gotten home).

Very few of the rifle makers also made bayonets.
The proper bayonet for your rifle would be one dated the year before, same year or maby the year after. That is presuming that nothing happened to...
I've never been in one of those because I do not eat chicken.
Do they have anything else besides chicken?
Sarge
I'd say you have a snowballs chance in hell of ever finding that info.
Why you ask - simple, It is Very probable that the copy the military kept was not kept more than a year (IF that long) and...
Be interesting to see what others say, but I don't like it. I think it is a Bubba job.
