I find the PPU and S&B ammo good in my three Lee Enfields and when reloading the S&B 174 boat tails are also OK. A lot is down to luck in some rifles are really fussy about what they will shoot well...

This whole fiasco was brought about by Kenny MacAskill (Kenny MacAskill - Wikipedia) one of the most useless politicians ever elected. A yobbo out on parole decided to shoot at firemen called to a...
Why not apply for Section 7.3 use? There is a Heritage Centre in Manchester where you can store your pistol collection.
it's a few years since I left customs but when there it used to be that the shipping companies offered an option where they did the import paperwork (Customs Entry) for you, at a charge obviously....
Sorry if I am being very ignorant but what is the metal plate under the No7 MK 1 meant for? Is it to do with the .22 magazine?
I would not have spotted the patch until told to go and look again.
I have bought two or three SMLE rear sight guards that have either NOT fitted or taken far too much work to fit. It is the one piece that I think someone would make money on if they re manufactured...
I'm reliably informed that some lots sent by Greater Manchester Police had to be pulled PDQ as they were an innocent shooters property.
Jc5 at No 22 The DVD was sent to me by the guy put in charge of selling the collection, he was not called Ian, I do not know who put it all together but it was a fair bit of work.
I have a DVD of the entire collection which was sent to me by the seller asking me to see if anyone in the U.K. would be interested in buying the whole collection. Obviously this limited the number...

@browningautorifle post #12 I do not think so as I have a RAMA VI rifle and the markings are completely different and the marks shown do not look like Thai script
The link does not work with me either so Flying10uk it's not your computer/ISP that's at fault
I think we need someone with a collection of old PH catalogues to give us the answer. I have a few so will see I can find the answer
Peter, I know what you mean having gone round a show with an antique pistol dealer who kept pointing out 'Faults' on various pistols. He'd spent a lifetime handling them just as you have with No32...
Lee Enfield and Warren. Can I ask what makes you think its an aged repro? There are many of us trying to learn from this forum so we need to know what it is that leads you to your conclusions. Is...

I found this on the Full-bore.com website. There is some lovely stuff in the auction inc Sec 7.1 and 7.3 pistols. See http://australianarmsauctions.com/cat_online_1.html for what I mean
An excellent series. I contacted the BBC to see if there was any chance of getting it on DVD but they gave some reason it could not be done.
I find them handy for a quick pull through before leaving the range and on smaller calibers such as 6.5 Swedish. However there is no subsitute for a rod and brush or patches once you are home.
Can you tell us a bit more about how you found these, where they came from etc. Sorry if I missed the info in an earlier thread.
I think your best bet would be to find someone who reloads BP cartridges and see if he can make you some.
