Merry Christmas everyone!
Great stuff. I use it on everything. Wood, steel and leather all seem to benifit from a light coating.
Depending what "good" means, I say buy it.
Anyway you slice it, they're nice shooting guns.
If you don't already, you will want to reload for it.
Brass and bullets can be had at tradeexcanada
I have to agree.
I love all milsurps. My first was a 1909 Argentine Mauser. If you have ever held one, I have to ask "What's not to love?" LOL But then I met a K31 and a vz 52/57 and it has been...
Wow, that sucks. Is there a reason, other than scary gun and giiirrrrly vp, for banning it? Some ranges might have cal/bullet restictions placed on them by cfo.
;) I don't find 9mm has quite the same bark as the original dog. :D:D
Besides field stripping and cleaning is (to me at least) a piece of cake. IMHO :D
I'm looking forward to this new forum. I think it's a great idea! I have read and enjoyed Lous' adventures in restoration on another site and I welcome them here.
+1 for Starline brass. 22 cents a case, I was quoted Jan/09

Happy New Year to you and to everyone here!
Thankyou, to everyone who contributed thoughout this past year to make this the best and most informative site anywhere.

I'm waiting for my Lee, S&W .38/200 molds to arrive, from a Cast Boolits group buy I got in on, back in the spring. I think it will be interesting to see how they shoot, with the bullets they where...
They are extremely well machined for their time. Even if you don't shoot it, it is a neat conversation piece. I have a couple, that I consider "keepers" even though I'm not set up to shoot them yet....
Or, we could start fighting back now. Your kids and grandkids should have every right to own any fire arm you own now and some! The thrill of aquirering a long sought after piece for their...
My Dad was RCAF stationed in Burma for most of the War. He had a great respect and admiration for Gurkha forces. They could get by on next to nothing for rations and still be in top form.

Heads up. Last chance to get in on bullet mold purchase, at ww-cast boolits, for the .38/200 S&W. Ends at the end of Mar.
There is a group buy, for a six bullet mold for RN & SWC, on the Cast Boolits web site. I'm in, don't miss out.

I got a sight and mount from the last group buy and am very satisfied. Biggest problem was time wasted by folks dragging their feet to sign up. It's top notch stuff. If you have a K31, then you know,...
And 7.62x25 would be???
Heads Up!
German Sniper scope add in CGN EE $900.00

Yes, I got a couple cases. Haven't had time to try it yet. May get a couple more cause the way things are going, you may never see milsurp again.
Pete
Good call. I have viewed that one for a while and wondered.
Thanks for your help.

Beats me. Pete is a stand up guy. I have bought a few rifles from him and every one is "as described". I bought the HMS Canada (Mk.III) that was first advertized beside this one and am very happy...
This gun has arrived. It is gorgeous. Pics do not do justice. They make it look almost white, when in fact it is a beautifull golden colour with lots of character in the grain. It's been fired, so no...
