Looks like you have a fine shooting Mosin there.:thup: I also lately started reloading for my Mosin/Nagant, but yet have tried any reloads at the range yet.

The folks at Dunham's in my area told me they don't know what 91/30 types will come in. Just that they are getting a shipment of a certain quantity. They've seen both round and hex receivers M38...

The title for your post says it all. To many get caught up in bidding and spend way more than items are worth.:bash:

Getting a Mosin Nagant 91-30 for $80.00 is not uncommon. My brother just purchased one at a local shop for that price. All matching with prewar stock.

I was at Atlanta Cutlery's Warehouse and picked out a Gehendra which still had it's original sling attached. It cleaned up nice along with the rifle.

I noticed only pistols until they got to their weapons containers. I thought one officer was however, carrying a sword. I don't think I seen a Paratrooper type 99 at all. I'll have to watch it again.

Aimsurplus has been selling 7.63 X54R for $11.50 for a box of 20 loaded PRVI ammunition. I bought 10 boxes from them awhile back. I see they are out of stock also now. However, its worth watching...

I have my dads old Smith and Wesson revolver chambered for the 38 SW. After seeing this thread I looked at how much ammo I had and less than 150 rounds. I think I need to also look for set of dies...

I use a 50/50 mix of ammonia and water at the range and finish up normally at home with Hoope's #9. Thats been working well for some time now for my Mosin-Nagant.

Just bought a Polish Wz-48 trainer in 22 long rifle last week. I've only been able to get to the range once since I bought it. Federal express ammunition gave me about a 3 inch group with ten rounds...
