Second the motion for Ray-Vin.
Magyar, I don't know that the Whittington Center in Raton has any Carbine matches, but did find this schedule on their website: http://www.nrawc.org/schedule.html
There's also the CMP Western...
How many of y'all shot it and how did y'all do? Seemed well run to me. I surprised myself by coming in one point under gold, considering the carbine hadn't been out of the house in a couple years. ...
I'm a reasonably "good" offhand shooter and not "great" by any means. But what I do is this, and I've found it works for me on every range I've tried it on, including CP. I use Peltor "Combat Arms"...
The Spikes uppers use Black Dog Machine magazines. Black Dog makes a variety of 22-cal mags for several rifles, including M261 and Ceiner, but I'm not sure if the Mags they make for Spikes also work...
Fick, I would be very interested in how you built that upper, especially for the price. Looks like something else I could use......
Please and thank you.
I have a Spikes Tactical "M-4" upper and while I haven't put a scope on it yet, with an Aimpoint red dot, the little 2" tall green plastic "army men" stapled to a 2x4 are in serious trouble at...
I don't know but I was told that at Long Bien in 1972 the engineers were digging a big-a$$ed hole for landfilling garbage, and found a burried M60 tank complete with main gun.
Couple-three things:
I'd be curious to know if all the "remanufactured" ammunition used cases with the same headstamp and date.
A buddy had an overload using factory ammunition in his...
Those are quite sturdy little items. I've had one for years, long enough ago they were five or six bucks when I got mine, and it is still in quite serviceable condition. Their home page barely...
Chuck, did a straight razor come with that pistol?
Sorry, could....not....help myself. Looking forward to the "after" photos.
We wouldn't know half of what is now known about those old sporters and the folks who made them without Mr. Petrov's work. He is welcome to clutter up this board with his photography and knowledge...
Audie Murphy's portrait hangs in the Senate chamber of the Capitol Building in Austin. I believe the only one of his generation so honored. Well maybe that bun of a sitch LBJ is hanging there too...
Bill, the allen wrench suggestion is a good one. I have used a spare front pivot pin for years for the same purpose, but your idea is better.
The only parts I've ever actually replaced on any of...
How on earth does something like that get to Australia?
Yes they do Goo, welcome home and thank you for your service.
By the way, after noticing Encyclopaedia Britannica had the wrong story concerning Dennehy's service record in his on-line bio, I shot...
Not exactly one of my favorites. All kinds of stuff all over the web about this gentleman's claim of Viet Nam service, just google for brian dennehy vietnam, but here's one I copied from an article...
We are diminished. Very sorry to hear of your father's passing.
I normally stay out of these opinion exchanges, and don't mean to flame anybody, but you better pay strict attention to placement of the value disk compared to the spotting disk to ensure you get...
My first center-fire rifle also, Chuck. Dad made up a pretty nice collection of the various calibers, but the 401 is a enormous beast.
A gent named John Henwood wrote a pretty decent book on...
Now that is neater than sliced bread. Very nicely done.
