O is not going to allow these into the country. We will have to wait until 2017 and hopefully have a pres other than hitlery and they might be imported.
I sure wouldn't try to shoot that. I don't like the looks of it.
I'm loading AA # 9. I get pretty good results with it plus i have almost 8 pounds of it.
I use AA # 9. I load to get 1980 to 2000 FPS. my carbine shoot way better than I can see anymore.
When the Yugo's first came out I ordered one. It was so nice I ordered 4 more. One came with a hard cover book that the soldies kept note on it. I can't read it but S/N goes in this book. I bought a...
I like it. It would go well in my man cave.
Good to know as I will not order anything from them.
I check every few days and Pat seems to be making progress. maybe a few more days and it will be up and running.
I've been using a ultra sonic cleaner. To dry the cases I throw them in a rotary tumbler with crushed walnuts or corn cobs.
I'll have to try that. I am also looking for a maximum case length gauge for 7.62x54R but nobody makes one.
There is a site with S/N and date of manufacture but I can't find it at the moment. My 1927 was made in 1973 If my memory is OK.
Wow, those are pretty crude.
I would think the Ohio Ordnance BAR's are not collectable at this time. While expensive they are fun rifles to shoot, extremly well made and HEAVY. Always draws a crowd when I take it to the range.
What was the point of adding that abortion to the grip? I live in MO and we don't have those stupid rules yet but some bozo politicians keep trying.
If you find yourself crowded at the range (many shooters and tables close together) touch off a few rounds down range and you will get some room.
If you want to have some fun at a gun show try to come up with something somewhat rare and expensive to carry in. I brought in a 41 Johnson in pristine condition. Act like dumb farm boy, (I got...
very nice, wish it was mine!!!
I've seen that abortion they make you put on but I don't see how you could hold it and fire the rifle very well. Sure glad I don't live there. There is plenty of room in MO for gun people.
wow! You did real good. Wish I'd fall into a deal like that.
Years ago I bought a case of 7.62X51. Chrono'd certain ones and got 10 FPS between them. I've since tried to duplicate that with hand loads but have never succeeded.
Tried it, didn't work. Waste of time.
Very Very Nice!!!! I'm envious for sure.
I was very good with the blooper.
While the stock looks rough It should clean up nicely. Steam out as many dents as you can and put a coat of stain on it and a little tung oil.
