No photos either.
Needing the bayo lug? Like searching for the Holy Grail!
Good luck on that one!

Yes, to the side would be ok. Just getting the look of the flintlock coach guns with bayonets, and also the ghost ring sight to boot!

Here it is. Fantasy yes, cool? maybe.
870 Rem, with SKS folding bayo on top. The barrel socket forms a ghost ring front sight while the bayo is folded up.
Just something goofy, is all.

Well,
It got your attention!
Last evening my wife saw the advancing pocket gophers charging up the hill and invading the yard. Man can these guys dig a trench fast! They are of the genus:...
Mr. Luver / Luver !
As far as I can tell. The checkered or plain walnut is correct. Re-builds after WWII could have the "corn cobb" type. ( Other's please correct me if I am mistaken ) Just like...

Still neat , as you said the cool factor.
Just my take on it.

Oh yea,
Reminds me of my time. 1200 with big ol' 00 Buck Winchester ammo.
Always wanted to DX all our 1200's for 870's, but the Winchester worked!
Always hated that big "F"ing bayonet...
Hope to be making the 5 hour drive to the Iola Wisconsin military show, as I will get to see some of the collectors and re-enactors that may be interested in my work, and also might pick up some...
Thanks guys!
I was out in the shop this weekend and forged out a band, made the screw and got everything finished.
Will be parkerizing the 77, along with a 620 ( Vietnam reissue repro )
Now...
As some may already know I am a gunsmith and do some recreation work for living history folks on all firearms periods.
This may ruffle a few feathers of some, as they may think I am muddying the...
Tom,
No such luck on the real one.
I went off of photos from books and aution catalogs. Some really nice photo work from some of the major auction houses these day, and they are great to keep...
Yes,
Milling machine and hand filing for the bayo lug. The hand guard and keeper for the receiver are all my work also. There is nothing available that I know of as far as reproduction pieces for...
Well boys, I finished my newest project. What do you think. I used a Winchester 1200 trench gun for a time while I was in the army, and since then the trench shotguns have always held a special place...
