Does anyone know what these are?
They look like MP34 magazines to me, don't recognize the pouch though.

Thanks - I wasn't sure if PPK was CSA, or not.
The PPK firearms seem to be mostly marketed in South Africa, and include some different models like this 'Hunter' type not shown on the CSA website. ...
Does anyone have a website or other contact information for PPK in the Czech Republic?
I keep seeing their VZ58 variants, mostly on South African gun websites, but can't find any details for the...
Thanks all, interesting.
I am looking to sell it, any thoughts on value?
Thanks, it did come from Australia.
It looks well made - no markings other than that number though, which is 460 C 140 - 5.
Finish has a slight matt wrinkle finish to it.
...
Has a channel in the top with a single screw mount for the optic, looks similar to an M16 carry handle type mount.

Sounds like the way to go, thanks.
They're new 7.62 barrels, using as new L4 barrel fittings.
Does anyone have on hand the correct size or spec for Bren / L4 gas block pins?
The pin hole in the barrel is still under sized and the pins we sourced are dropping halfway through.
Looks like...
Finished the repairs, worked very well.
Thanks everyone for their input.
This should be the final repair plan I reckon - thanks to everyone for their input.
1. Repair the hole using a threaded plug
2. Bore out chamber to 16.5mm as drawn.
3. Shrink fit insert and...
Thanks for that Browningautorifle, I'm thinking that will be the way to go for this barrel.
If I make the insert over-length, I can mill some flats on it, then machine that part off.
What...
What if the insert was reduced slightly in diameter, and then threaded in, and secured with silver solder?
Between the thin cylinder walls and the barrel heating up when fired, I'm concerned I...
Makes sense - thanks for your input.
That's why I like drawings, rather than a one line 'bore out the barrel and insert a chamber liner'.
Could mean lots of different things!
I've had another go at drawing up a chamber repair, using an insert.
I've made the insert the same diameter as the chamber end of the barrel - 22.9mm
That doesn't give much wall thickness...
Thanks Peter - I figured they would be - just noticed some opportunists selling 'L4' firing pins at a premium, so I was confused!
Are the .303 and L4 7.62 firing pins the same, or similar enough to be interchangeable?
The .303 ones turn up fairly regularly, even in complete boxes of 12 - they must have been surplussed off at some point.
The L4 ones are rarer - they are usually sold as '30 round SLR' magazines....
Thanks Peter, sounds like I need another box of magazines then!
Was that the standard Bren loadout then Peter, 2 x boxes of 12 magazines and 1 x magazine in the chest?
How about the L4s, how many magazines were they supplied with, and what was the carrying...
Joe, Peter - fortunately, I have a second Bren L4A3 gun in as-new condition that just needs barrels.
Everything's possible if you wish hard enough!
Peter - the L4 barrels I am making will be made from a combination of a drawing of an L4 barrel profile, and measurements taken from an L4 gun itself.
So they will be made to fit, basically -...
Fine, I'm convinced now! :D
I'll shrink a sleeve into the barrel and re-machine the chamber.
Thanks for the input, all.
I'm working with a guy who's a precision machinist and gunsmith, he...
I've attached a drawing showing what I had in mind for the barrel repair:
http://www.rarco.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/20160909.pdf
The hole is 8mm diameter, drilled through one side of...
Joe H, I got the mill test certificate for my barrel blanks.
Fortunately they were heat treated and have a minimum proof stress of 96,000 psi!
As others have mentioned I needed to get...
Yes, unfortunately MG barrels can only be imported for Government use.
That's very interesting Joe, re: the heat treated barrels.
It never occurred to me to consider that.
I'll contact...
