1917 Eddystone with a Remington stock, a Johnson Automatics barrel, and a Winchester bolt handle (Eddystone bolt). Really good, accurate shooter. Good shape with no rust. Eagle head proof marks on...
1943 Remington 1903A3 in a Keystone C-stock with a newer 1907 sling. I have a 1903 milled trigger guard on it for asthetics but have the original 1903A3 stamped trigger guard that will ship with it....
Though I'm sure there was some sniping done at close range between the trenches in WWI, if you read the book "A Rifleman Went To War" by Herbert W. McBride, you will find that he regularly sniped...
Nice shooting
How do I subscribe to this journal? Is there a cost or is it a freebie? I'm not cheap, just want to know.
Thanks
I would still like to know how Chuckindenver and others know the cartouches and inspection stamps are fake. I think it would benefit all on here to know what to look for. Thanks in advance.
For the benefit of everyone on here and to promote learning the barrel is dated 7-44, which should be considered a replacement as Remington barrel dates of original 1903A3 rifles stopped at 3-44.This...
I wouldn't do that as the stock is has a nice walnut color as is. BLO is the reason why most old milsurp stocks are very dark. It darkens the wood over time.

What's the average Enfield #4 Mark 1 worth?
Nice shooting mtoms!
Nice rifle martin08! Bayonet is equally in pristine condition. Did you find these at a gun show, your local gun shop or on the net?
Aragorn,
I know what you mean, LOL. What I meant is every part on the rifle is stamped with an E for Eddystone except those three, though I agree they are the biggest part of the rifle.

Yoopercollector,
Thanks. Despite reading the hoe to attach pics section multiple times, I can't seem to do so. I shot my M1917 last weekend and found it to be pretty accurate. I shot a 1.3" five...
I seen this one at my LGS a few months back and thought it was interesting. Every time I would go there I would pick it up and inspect it. I thought the price was too high so always put it down. The...
