If bolt has two large holes it's a U.S.M.C.
Original gray green parkerized on a 1931 dated 03?
Should it not be black parkerized.
Is that a SHT or DHT reciever. It looks like a straight handle bolt. But either way, it looks good. Put a correct stock back on, and find a sportered mix-master for the other stock.. FWIW.
can't help on the jeep scabbard.
But a sling will cost you between $50.00 for a beater
to as much as 300.00 or more for a like new one.
Condiation dictates the price and what you are...
An early remington 03 GG stock ? And you passed it up. You missed the boat on that one. The stock is almost worth the $700.00 by itself... FWIW
Might it have been imported before 1986..?
A big your weclome to Chuck. Glad you could make use of the stock.
Your project looks cool....
Looks like she could kick-a##, in it's day..
What ship (name) was it.
Dupage has an excellent prewar slim style C stock with cross-bolts and bushing for $150.00. and it's a drop-in fit. At least mine did..
And than if you where in France ln WW1 and still breathing, you would be senile by now.
IMHO I say at least $300.00.
I just bought a complete rifle for $600.00 just to get the DAL stock.
I restocked it and sold it for $700.00, but thats beside the point...
