It is /was a BSA" High Velocity Sporter #2". The #2 and 3 sporter's feel like a Badminton racket compared to cut down #1 or #4. The #1 sporter model is a little less dynamic because of the barrel rib.

A Turret press will work great for you, as long as you buy a good one. RCBS, Redding and Lyman allmake very good turret presses. DON'T buy a Lee turret thet are crap. They have aluminum turrets !
don't size your bullets, just lube them. All 6 of my .303's prefer unsized bullets at .314 minimum. I use Lee 180 and Lyman 314299. Just starting to play with a 3 cavity Cramer mold that is a 175...
I make my own. I use 3/8 hex 12l14 for handles and use A-2 tool steel for the punch bits. I make the handles 6" long and find them much more comfortable than factory punches.
What happened to all of the Garand recievers from the rifles that were stripped for parts for the US market?
