I have up for sale a tanker helmet that I got in a package deal with some stuff from craigslist. Here is a pic.
I am looking to get 100 plus shipping.
Very nice picture, I'm going to look into that book.
Typo, my bad! That's awful. All that history down the drain. Do you have any pics pre- Katrina?
Get some!
Ha, wow! This is a bit overwhelming.
I found a Saginaw bolt on ebay...

Looks legit as they did not date their barrells.

Looking to pick up a few items from this guy. He seems to be legit. A quick google search of his profile name shows memberships in a lot of California military forums.

Gotcha. No, I'm more than fine with mixed parts. Just want everything to be WWII era.
So I'll be replacing barrel and sling eventually.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I was going to change the sling as well because it has the D clips. As far as I know only C's were used in WWII.
What is wrong with the barrel band and rear sight?
The band is marked "SI" for...
It's for the Army Ground Forces, currently FORCOM.
Anyone with display advice?
In the short time that I have been collecting, I have yet to go to a show. Is this where most people find things? My primary sources thus far have been garage/ estate sale, ebay, craigslist.
I love that display! Did you build that yourself? If so got the plans? :)
It's the S.G. Does that make a difference in value? I looked at this site to find out...A little history of Saginaw (S'G') and its carbines. : Saginaw (S'G')

Could you message one of them for me? ;)
Stupid question here...
I recently bought a M1903 A3 Smith Corona and when I open the bolt, it just slides out. Do I need to pick up a bolt lock? Is a piece missing? Sorry for the noob question....
Yeah, I got that email. I have just been waiting for the admin approval.
This maybe slightly off topic or frowned upon? But I have registered for Us Militaria forums and I cannot post or view anything! I registered almost two months ago and am still waiting for approval!...
Yeah, it does look beat up, but thats the look I want. Just wanted to know if it's authentic, which I don't think it is.
What do we say guys, is this legit or fake?
WWII 82nd Airborne M1 possible M1c Helmet | eBay
Nice pick up! From what I understand, they only made about 20000. If you have the late edition with a one line right side marking, your riding high.
Thanks for all the comments. Since I have been collecting wings, I'm glad I got a pair of navy ones and didnt even realize.
All I can say is, "Badass!"
