As to the revers "K" on this stock, I recently found this information. Thoughts?
Author Lt. Col. William Brophy indicates that the 1903A4 with a scant stock marked with a reverse "K" is found in...
Update: As to the cross bolts, when I first obtained the rifle it had some rather rusty cross bolts and nuts. I changed them out at that time and put the originals "somewhere" (I know, I know..). I...
As I understand, the reproduction of these bayonets is mostly noticeable on the top portion, not necessarily the blade.
Any thoughts on the originality of this bayonet? Thanks in advance.

I recently picked up this rifle and I don't know much about them. Comments welcome.
Thanks
Thank you for the reply. I have seen several scopes with an electric pencil etching with the rifle's serial number.
Here ya go. Thanks
It is an AC 44 with a later scope/mount, not matching.
Thank you for your response. Would you be so kind as to help me understand the difference?
Thank and yes, it is 309XXXX range. However, I thought the range for a "modified" would not have the grooves on the stock. Am I mistaken?
Thank you for the response
Any thoughts?

May I solicit some opinions of originality to this Remington 1903 modified hardware serial number range 309X?
Thanks in advance.
I believe so, and a 1903 Unertl sniper on the other end.

If not, what should it be?
Thanks
Looking for a 1903 stock for a correct Remington 03 modified in top condition. Thanks
This is all I have at the moment.
I am posting a photo of my dad's naval squadron pistol gun log from 1953-54. I am looking for any of the serial numbers recorded in the log.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks. It is a scant stock. The trigger guard is blued but the other hardware is Parkerized.
I have had this one for a while. Just decided to post a few photos and ask about the cartouche. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Looking for an MN or UN magazine catch, No "M" of the face. Type III for the National Postal Meter.
Thanks
My mistake, the receiver and the barrel are April of 1942, not 43.
Scant stock
Thanks
