Pleas find attachment of sketches of templates and a photo of an original clip. Hope it makes sense.
I made templates will dig them out tomorrow.
Sorry, you will also need some string.
They are not difficult to make. I made some out of an old oil tin, pallet wood and sticky back plastic. Sorry, you don't need the sticky back plastic. See photos.

I don't understand the last part of your post.

The Dutch people owe a debt of gratitude to all who fought for their freedom. As a child I remember visiting the Commonwealth war graves to lay flowers. All the school children took part on...
My father served with 418 RCAF as a navigator. The squadron moved to Volkel near Eindhoven early in 1945. He remembered how little the Dutch people had however their generosity and friendship was...
We have contacted Holland and Holland some years ago about a Webley WG Model 89 .476 (2013). This was their reply 'Unfortunately with items like this where we retailed them, there were no records...
Sorry. I should have checked my facts before posting. It should be 1st Parachute Brigade group Italy.

My uncle served with 3 Para in Italy and I believe he was involved in the Arnhem operation and survived. We can't find any information about him. Could you help?
You probably have a training or a Zimmer rifle. Both are for indoor use. It will be chambered for the 6mm Flobert, which uses the priming charge to drive a small projectile. If the barrel is more...
Yes, a typo. We were always told a 4 round clip per second. However, the 40-70 specification stated a cyclic rate of 300 rounds per minute. I was posted to Germany in the mid 70s where we used the...
The 40-70 had a barrel of 40mm cal x 70 calibres long as opposed to the older 40-60. It also had a longer higher capacity shell case resulting in much higher velocities. I think the Army used the...
Ah! The best laid plans!
The intention was to refurbish the old models into the new configuration. However, WW1 ended and so did the military budget. It wasn't until 1938/1939, when the Dutch...
I wish there were only 5 carbine versions.
As I am an obsessive compulsive Dutch carbine collector (there is no cure), there are 17 or 18 variants of the Dutch M95 carbine out there.
I...
Nice find. It is a KNIL.
There were only 3 long rifles, leger (army), marine and KNIL. It would have had a handguard. The army and marine rifles differed only in the serial numbers. The marine did...
The clip catch spring will fit the bolt stop on the M95.
The bolt stop spring dimensions are as follows:
Length 11.3mm
Diameter 6.3mm
Coils approx. 6 ends ground flat
Wire gauge 1mm

Hi David
The book only deals with the Webley Pryse type revolvers on pages 107, 108 and 109. On pg 107 it states that no record now exist for pistol sales.
Quote from pg 109: " Here again the...
Hi. What information are you looking for?
Hi Anzac. It looks like it started out as a KNIL cavalry carbine. Approx 10,000 were produced. This was the only colonial carbine to have a magazine fairing. KNIL carbines also had the turned down...
Unfortunately not. He joined 418 sqn before Christmas 1944. The Squadron flew intruder missions and used the Mk6 fighter bomber. However, I believe they were the highest scoring Canadian Sqn.
Talking of throwing things out. When clearing my father's house I made sure I kept all the old photographs. This one I dismisses as just an aerial landscape until I looked at it with a magnifying...
Hi
If you include the KSO training carbine and the carbine to break up cartridges, 17 variants in all. We only have 8 so far. Included are photos of our No1 New Model. They had rods.
Ian
Hi
The carbine has a moving side mounted swivel and a short handguard. It is a new Model No 1 cavalry carbine. If you require further information let me know.
