I have a AK&S scope with the serial number of 28831, it is now an LIAI scope built in 1946.....

It looks as it should, try it with some dummy rounds to check that it feeds ok..

If you have a separated case you need one of these, top one is a 303 then 7.62 and finally a 223 with a split case..

If it was the no4T that i looked at it was on sale for £4400 not £1400, there were also a few other No4Ts for sale at various prices.

Parker hale Roll off mounts are listed in there catalogue No 86 as follows..

Model Rals3 (1 inch tube dia.) low (.23 under tube)19 mm dovetail.
Model Rals4 (26 mm tube dia) low (.23 under tube)19...

Stacking swivels were removed in service during the 1930s for the SMLE and no4s were not issued or used with a stacking swivel, probably added to the rifle by civilian users...
