Pretty sure the real reason the 1 Carbine is banned in New Jersey is for another reason. The same reason all the other banned ones are banned. Same reason they're banned in NYC.

From memory, NPM used (at different times in production) a P proof only, a P and punch and a punch only.
What usually happens is new people put a fake flip on their Carbine and think it looks sorta ok. As time goes on they realize that to experienced people it looks pretty wrong.
No, I'm pretty positive it's a reproduction rear sight. Most reproduction sights don't have any gap at the bottom. Only one maker has a gap. All the others are flat.
I've got an Inland with Fed Ord import stamp. It's not easy to find and they're so much less visible than the barrel stamped ones. It doesn't bother me.
The rear sight Doesn't appear to be USGI on...
Ah, it's a Korean import then?
Car crashes, train wrecks, sure, as long as they're the most wanted.
Ditto that.
We especially love pics of the most wanted Carbines.
I haven't really been going to shows in more than a year. Three years ago you could still find a Rockola. An acquaintance was waiting for me to show me one he had in his car. He didn't have it on his...
Some guys will kiss anything. Nuf said about that.
I picked up a 6.2 million Rockola with Inland barrel, bayonet lug and adjustable rear sight. Everything was mixed but good condition. About 3 years ago.
So they're just going to call them "push button safety" from now on?
Just proof that they exist, but yes. Multiples, so some of us can be convinced. I'm a cynic and a skeptic.
That doesn't sound at all definitive. I want to know one specific thing, not all varieties of things. Did DCM release Carbines with type I sights? That's all. Anything else is just fluff confusion. ...
To me it's a nice Winchester with a box added. The part with the serial number of the Carbine inside is missing UNLESS I OVERLOOKED IT. The paperwork is strategically torn and gone where the serial...
No, normal people (like Charlie Painter who agreed with my statement) who have an ability to ascertain information, know how to read what I wrote and know what I said do not agree with you. All...
There's no advice. Read it again, what it actually says. If you don't get it that time, just move on.
It's a ignorant ruling by an agency that can't critically reason.
Scrub the marking off and it's not an M2. Simple.
sigh, just let it go. Geez. You don't want to be known as a narc.
If you're on a slab, it's a problem. But on crawl or basement you can just shore it up from underneath.
Guys that would store complete engines in garages or drive in basement garages have reported...
I cleaned and cleaned a flaked out piece near a recoil to repair with Superglue. It didn't hold.
Idid the same in a couple high wood areas or low wood in the same regioin. They don't hold either....
Looks bent and ground short. I've got an early band that's been ground short so some bubba could use a later band screw on an early band. The screw doesn't fit unless they make the cylinder part...
So many rare Carbines and M1A1 are monkeyed with. Irwin Pedersens are frequently poorly corrected. It wouldn't be so bad that they're messed with. But it's that Saginaw S'G' Carbines get destroyed...
Superglue sucks. Tried it many times.
It's good for fixing finish blems on guitars.
I really don't believe it was anything other than too many people selecting something they weren't going to get, because there weren't enough of them, and the system gliched. Some people got one...
You are assuming again. The police probably swapped wrong parts around just as likely as anybody. Midway lied that these aren't refurbed or even refinished. There's no getting around that.
I've...
