Morning, there isn’t anything in the manual re tube type, mine is fitted with the Phillips one.

Also the Philips xx1332 tube Gen2+

I use mine on an L1A1, superb scope, picked it up about ten years ago

I have a L5A1 complete with all the bells and whistles in its transit case with full instructions, I will dig it out at the weekend and let you know
