FWIW you may want to send gun to Springfield Armory for their $75 repark treatment (includes return shipping). I just got my IHC gap letter back and it looks great. (I requested black parkerizing)....

mparsons: two gap letters here as well, 4640369 and 4641536. Both sport 6-53 dated LMR barrels, NHC marked elevations knobs and DRC marked windage knobs. HTH
