I was thinking it might be a “1903 Modified” from what this article was saying American Rifleman | The Remington M1903 Rifles
So what would you guys say a hodgepodge rifle like that is worth. Pawn shop near me is going out of business and I wouldn’t mind just having one to shoot.
Whey you say upper band, are you referring to the barrel band? I'm vaguely remembering seeing something on the bolt but I can't recall what it was.
