Thanks for that. So in theory the screw should be backed off a small amount so the slot in screw head aligns with the punch mark.

Just bought a "Fulton Regulated" LE No 4 mark 1/2 in 0.303 .
My previous 0.303 was a typical Kiwi Cut-Down that was good for shooting a horse at 6 inches distance but not at all accurate....
