That'll do it...
There was one for sale here local for about $5000 CDN not long ago...don't know what happened to it though.
The tank shown in the field has a broken track, left track is incomplete just below the front idler wheel. Watch at 2.21 and you can see the end of the track in front of the first road wheel. ...
So...did this ever get sorted out? What eventually did you do?
Not many pics are there?
I am in agreement with that assessment.
You could find that backfire nowdays. There have been instance of being refused service once they determine you're Canadian, one guy had to bring...
You're right about the sanding. The heel should have much more material on the flat and if you look at the pistol grip you can see how much has been sanded off. The area at the buttplate should be...
I would have soaked in Muriatic acid and be done with rust. It works wonderfully.
The pics here are not a "K bar" but a Mk1 I think. It was just leather stock. I did a kit too and the hardest...
Exactly.
I knew a man here that was a gun business wholesaler, came to Canada after the war. He still spoke poor and broken English after 45 years... Apparently had to escape Italy as he'd had a falling out...
There you go...

That could be lots of fun...
Yes. It shouldn't be too magic either. Almost just that easy.
OK, so much for that.
The pics in the link and the link I've seen and enjoyed before.
I wonder because they don't specify, there must have been refinish involved. Parkerizing, because FN...
They are the same as the AR10, those roll pins go in and the end slips off. One side would do perhaps, then when cleaned you tap them back from outside. Make sure they're flush before using them.
They'd be as new...wonder if there were any rebuild marks we have seen and not understood?
Neat assortment, a little of everything, an old pattern BAR.
Maybe a Jap officer's personal possession box?
What the uninvolved people should be asking instead of why we need such things is why do others want all of us unarmed.
Those modified rifles and carbines are neat. Not just these two but the ones Turks did, Germany and so on. Very interesting and a collection all on their own.
It's not as bad as it may look or you suspect. The pommel comes off, which ever one you have and then start on the leather. I've done more than a couple here...last one was the kit you suggest and...
I don't think so. I wouldn't be too quick to be shooting that one until I had a closer look at things. It's not JUST that simple.
