Not very soon, I think the Dims are afraid of gun control. The recent election spiked the prices, which is one reason for my starting this thread. That, and a son who is about ready to handle .223...

Oh great now I have to buy a lathe! :dancingbanana:
I have 3 M-dies on order from Graf & Sons, one each for .45 ACP, .38Spl/.357 Mag. and for 30-06.
Thanks!
Tommy
Do you lube the inside of your case neck for using the M-die?
Tommy
Last weekend I saw aisles full of various primers for $49/M and for $36/M, at stores within a hundred miles of each other. I checked for someone else this morning and didn't seen any avail. on a few...
Thanks for the reply.
I just ordered 3 of them from Graf & Sons, the only company beside Lyman with them in stock.
Tommy
OK, that makes sense.... as far as I understand the O-ring lock nuts. IO've seen them, but have never used one before.
Thanks for that reply.
Tommy
OK, thanks. I trim every firing with a Giraud trimmer, so case length is 'on'.
I'm thinking t buy 3 M-dies now, .45, .38 and for 30-06 too.
Thanks for the reply.
Tommy
As I understand what I've read, the Lee die flares only the upper bit of the case mouth, whereas the Lyman die works the case body a bit and also flares teh case mouth as desired.
Thanks,
Tommy
OK, thanks.
Yes, My main use would be w/ cast bullets ("boolits"?).
Question: Why "with Lee O-ring dies"? Do you use a Lee die body and the Lyman M-die innards or what?
I have...
I need to buy a couple case expander dies (long sordid tale).
The Lyman M-Die seems like a 'good thing'. Do any of y'all have an opinion:lol: about this die?
Sincerely,
Tommy :runaway:
You arent' too far from "Collectors Firearms". They are expensive, IMO, but have a lot to look at and the folk working there are friendly.

OK, thanks. I'm planning to set the old Uniflow to 5.5-5.6 gr.
I wonder what's up w/ the 5.6 as "max."?
Tommy
I canNOT find my blasted reloading manuals (yet.. I hate moving!).
I am sure my fav. load was for 200 gr. SWC bullets is 5.4 gr. Win. 231.
Well, I looked at the Win. web site, finally found...
I bet you do!
Tell us "others" how bus. is for the vendors, match attendance, etc.
Tommy
I've read other good reports about these too.
I use a 12-15" piece of string looped and tied through one of my front belt loops.
The string "hooks" on the button and is pulled down...
Dale that's just wrong!
Tommy
That's going to require a LOT of paperwork! :yikes::eek::yikes::confused::yikes:
Sir, You joined the Navy 5 years before I did. You stayed in; my thanks for your service and dedication, particularly during the 90's.
I understand your points, and agree. I know a little...
Cool info. and yeah, I know how much money can be made on 'specialty chemicals' too!
It is sounding like it will do no harm then. I had one fellow tell me it contains Si, bad ju-ju on oil...
Yep, and I hear you there!
Tommy
ANY officer commanding a ship is the 'Captain" and is called by that title, whatever his rank.
Hiring a pilot is a pretty standard practice as I understand matters.
Tommy
I understand you. I imagine the claim of "lemon oil" is for the nice smell and advertising too.
Well I already have some of the Scotts at home, so will use it.
Thanks for the reply!
Tommy
...

Thanks!
