If that's true, I guess I should throw all my pre 1940 PP's & PPK's in the trash,as
they were only numbered on the frame and never on the barrel and only later in
the war did numbered slides show...

JP, I just picked up a "WB" that has an unmarked all blue pined base mag.
Any idea what time frame this belived to be Colt mag is from?
