I have over 250 Type 99 rifles , every maker , every series and every 10,000 block . I have a pile of parts . Most parts will not interchange between makers , not even close . You have no idea what...
Type 99 parts are NOT interchangeable between makers .
The rifle has the stock cut off and sanded so much the shape has changed and the sling swivel mounting hole is gone . The buttplate has also been added after the original was removed .
Since IJ was supervised by Nagoya I would try some late Nagoya parts . Series 8 and 10 are common rifles so the parts are not too hard to find .
