Still looking. Help me complete my quest.
Sounds like a nightmare. Thanks for laying all that out. While I'd love to get into something like that, I simply do not have the time that I would surely need to dedicate right now. It's unfortunate...
Thanks for all the replies. It's a shame that importing is becoming so prohibitively expensive. I'd honestly be interested in getting my 08 FFL and learning the trade in some way if there was someone...
Thanks for the thorough response. I meant no disrespect in regards to Borderviews export price, I was just trying to save a few bucks since it seems that I <theoretically> could import with my C&R....
I've looked into Borderview and it's a bit expensive. I know it's not "cheap" to import, but sometimes it seems more affordable to get a rifle from abroad then through the US market. The rifle in...
Winchester 1895 actually. Wish there was a way to get the SVTs in...
Hello all,
I am in the process of trying to import a few firearms from Canada. I have not yet purchased them, but the seller is holding them for me until I figure I few things out. I am a C&R...
I'll have to give that a shot. Thanks for the link. @Promo seems to have all the most interesting toys!
Beautiful. I'd love to do the same to my sporter 1917. Would you ever consider making any brackets for sale? Do you have the link to the original pictures by Promo?
Again, outstanding work.
Thank you all for the photos. I've decided to proceed with purchasing it. I really do love these sights. Interesting point about the possibility of it being a Mues sight base. I know that BSA and...
Hello all, just wondering to get some information about this sight before I purchase. Based on the pictures, the sight seems to be canted a little forward on the rifle (not sitting at a 90). Is that...
Looking for a Lee Cook magazine for a Remington Lee 1879. Thanks for looking!
What sort of nose cap is that with the peep sight? Is the peep sight attached to the nose cap?
Beautiful rifles and happy birthday to them both!
Wow that's looks amazing. You must be quite pleased!
I mean at least it's a No4! My goodness I hope no one buys that thing. Grounds for divorce that is.
Looking to buy a No4 Mk2 receiver. The Mk1s seem easy to track down but Mk2s on the other hand... Located in Maryland USA. Thanks for reading!
Excellent. Do you have any pictures of how the rifle would have looked with the scope installed? I can't say I've ever seen even so much as a sketch of such a set up. Absolutely superb craftsmanship....
Beautiful work. I look forward to seeing how this turns out! Are you planning on selling the brackets at some point?
Truly amazing work. You should be incredibly proud!
Merci, @tatou
If you have a second made, I would happily pay. I'm in the same boat. Silver solder would probably work best.
Feel free to shoot me a message directly! Thank!
@Daan Kemp
I wholeheartedly agree! The more I think about it, it seems a pretty selfless gesture.
@Roger Payne
Is there a scope you don't have lying around!? Thanks for the measurements,...
@Roger Payne
This was more informed response I was hoping for! Though my corn flakes deserved better!
@TheAlpineWolf
As it were, I'm at that dangerous junction where I have a receiver and...
