03 rear sight

A while back in the wanted to buy forum someone was looking for an 03 Rock Island rear sight. I would like to know how you can identify a rear sight once it's removed from the rifle. I have two 03 rear sights, one has a small G on the back of the leaf,left side near the base, it has a dished face on the elevation knob. The other has an M up near the top left side of the leaf, and a flat face knob.

Would not be an 03. It was an 03A3. Rear sights are completely different.
