Muzzle loader replica advice
good evening. I'm fascinated from service rifle replica... i own a tryon target Pedersoli, a good shooter but he never spoke about history at my ear. So what's the most accurate between Enfield 2 bands, Zouave or Mauser 1857 pedersoli made??
Pedersoli offers good replicas but a lot pricey..are they more accuarate??
Help me , i love yhese rifles..

A friend has an 1857 Mauser and says its a very accurate rifle with the Lyman International minie bullet. I have shot the 2 band Enfield and they are good as well.

The Mauser might be easier to get shooting accurately.

I can't pay for an original rifle. Is a better buy Pedesoli or Armi sport replicas?

I like Pedersoli. I've not really shot Armi Sport, just made muskets for re-enacting and they are heavier.

Get Pedersoli 1857 "Mauser", 2-band Enfield, or Gibbs
From Pedersoli, I have the:
Gibbs 451 percussion rifle
Mortimer flintlock rifle
Long-Range competition Sharps.
All 3 types that are better than any other replica (or even original) that you can buy for sensible money, and have won many matches at MLAIC European and World Championships. A friend has the 1857 Württemberger (it is NOT a real Mauser) and praises it highly, saying that it is easier to shoot than the 2-band Enfield he was using before.
Pedersoli makes excellent rifles, and one must not forget that the Italians have now been making these replicas for a longer period than the original production in the 19th century.
I see that Pedersoli now makes a 2-band Enfield. It is reasonable to expect that it is made to the same level of quality, and we will soon be seeing reports about it.
If you want to shoot a military percussion rifle, get the 1857 Württemberg (even if they call it a Mauser
) or the 2-band Enfield. If you want to shoot a percussion target rifle, get the Gibbs. They really are well-nigh unbeatable.
No, I do not have shares in Pedersoli!
