1908 BSA SMLE Target Rifle
I am ignorant of the SMLE line but like target rifles. Have any of seen and wish to comment on this rifle?
It is being auctioned on Gunbroker and now is at $3,025. It is a sharp looking rifle, but I will not be bidding.

it's a beautiful rifle, except for the miss matched bolt.
maybe the high bidder owns the original bolt??

The more I see these prices, the more one thinks they should auction stuff. People seem to hammer you
when you try and sell stuff. Not many people understand collectible stuff and the time it takes to find it
There hasn't been much good stuff coming out of arsenals anymore.
Best Long Branch en fields by condition and various years of manufacture came from Greece many
years ago. Most of the mint ones were Un issued 1949-1950

Sometimes I wonder if the better way to go is to get off the smaller sale sites like CanadianGunNtuz...and stop sparring with those that won't pony up and pay to play.
