Unusual Barrel Markings
I came across this Picture of a '43 Inland with Strange markings on the Barrel. I don't think it's a Inland Barrel, but when I searched for M1
Carbine Barrels with unusual Markings I didn't find anything like this. Would anyone know something about these strange markings. Thank You.

Possibly some Israeli proofs. They had LOTS of out M1s (and still do!)

I would say it's a Springfield Armory barrel. Would there be a cross cannon cartoch on the flat part of the barrel.

I couldn't tell you this is the only picture of the barrel and I do have one of the Carbine but not big enough to see details.

I tend to agree with SA being the maker, but the some or all of the other markings are unknown to me.

SA barrel, date 6 51. Obvious foreign inspection/proof/unit markings.

Especially since I started on the original Culver forum. That had to be about 1998.

I see I overlooked another date of 4-62 which probably was an overhaul or possibly the date that barrel was installed. This is not a U.S. marking.
